Why does every other industry get to charge for their product but ours? Why do we have to spend more time figuring out what to post rather than making actual music? When did music become relegated to just a piece of content you scroll past? I put my blood, sweat, and tears into making my music...and then am told to give it away and hope something comes from it later. If you want my music, you can pay for it. If you’re not going to give my music your undivided attention, don’t bother listening. The people who value it will pay for it and they will savor the details. Everyone else can keep scrolling.
